About Ophelia Deroy
Ophelia Deroy is a professor at LMU Munich, specialising in philosophy of mind and cognitive neuroscience. She is an expert on inner conflict, and has previously held positions the University of London, Institut Jean Nicod, New York University, Humboldt University and the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She also collaborates widely with art institutions and creatives, including the Tate Galleries, the Getty Museum, the chef Heston Blumenthal and the insect activist Ben Reade. Her work has been widely covered by the media, including the BBC, TLS and The New York Times.
About Bahador Bahrami
Bahador Bahrami is a former medical doctor and professor at Royal Holloway, University of London. He is an expert in social neuroscience, in particular collective decision-making and human face-to-face interactions. He has held positions at UCL, Aarhus University, the Max Planck Institute and the Paris School of Economics. His work has been featured in media outlets such as The New York Times, Nature and BBC News, as well as in Tate Modern's 2019 Olafur Eliasson exhibition. He runs CrowdCognition, a multilingual blog about social cognitive neuroscience intended for a general audience.
